Background

I am an Early Childhood Development Specialist with a focus on behavioral and emotional development in the earliest years of life.

I am now training as a Clinical Hypnotherapist

In short, I look at how the formative mind learned to love, think, feel, and respond in our earliest years, including the unwanted patterns we may still carry, and how hypnotherapy can help redirect those patterns to match who we are and what we want now.

For the last nearly two decades, my work in early childhood development specialist has brought me close to the origins of human experience, observing how the primitive mind begins to shape the way we feel, respond, and relate to the world long before thought becomes language. My work explores how early experiences, family systems, and environmental suggestions shape our subconscious patterns. Which ultimately influencing how we perceive the world, form relationships, and come to understand ourselves.

I am now training as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, deepening my study and practice of how the subconscious mind holds our earliest conditioning, and how those first impressions shape the human experience. Through this lens, I explore how hypnotherapy can support us in shifting these foundational patterns as we move toward a life that feels more aligned, intentional, and deeply our own.

Lake Jai is the beginning of this guided exploration.

It is a space for returning to the present moment, learning to listen to the deeper programming that influences our lived experience, and reshaping subconscious patterns so they align with our chosen direction.

Frequently Asked Questions

June 2026 in Los Angeles

It is a focused state of awareness and deep relaxation that allows me to work with the subconscious mind to help you make positive changes in your life. It is like being fully immersed in a movie. You are inside the story, feeling it, experiencing it, and responding to it. A hypnotherapist is like a director who helps you rewrite the inner script, rewire unwanted old patterns and to create a new positive story while you are safely within the experience.

Fun fact: According to Dr. John Kappas’s model, our early years shape the subconscious patterns that influence how we feel, think, love, and respond.

Around ages 0–8, we absorb the emotional and mental patterns that become part of our inner programming. Then, around ages 9–14, we begin forming deeper patterns around love, attraction, and relationships. This is why I am so fascinated by the early mind: so much of who we become begins before we even know how to explain it.

But those patterns are also beautiful clues about ourselves. We do not have to stay there. We can return to the present moment and begin to choose differently.

With the right tools — hint: hypnotherapy — we can begin to reshape and rewire those patterns so they match who we are today and the life we want to create now.
